So yeah college football was officially back this past Saturday as four FCS teams kicked off their seasons with the Jacksonville St/NC A&T tilt being the main attraction. So like I will every week some thoughts on what I saw...things I liked and not so much. One thing of note...I'm gonna try and get these done a quickly as possible but with a really crappy work schedule and having to rewatch a lot of stuff it will be hard not getting something done before Tuesday (hate that). Alright, finally getting started on this and none too soon. We come to the conference that has a serious argument for being the best in the country. Obviously will get to the reasons why its number two but it isn't a large gap between 1 and 2. This conference is deep and could be deeper depending on who has the bounce back years and who finally takes that step forward Placement Reasoning The only real difference between the CAA and the Missouri Valley is personal preference. Most people would argue, and could easily justify, the CAA being the top conference in the FCS. My reasoning for it being number two are simple...one, it has the national runner-up and not the champion. Two, the bottom of the conference is just a little deeper than that of the MVFC. Well, it has been a while since I have been able to post something, thanks to my trackpad deciding not to work last week but I am back and it seems I have some things to catch up on. Namely, STATS FCS Preseason Top 25 is out and looking at it I got some "issues" with it.
