Everyone could use a little change

Ok, this topic has been on my mind for some time now and I finally stop procrastinating about it and figured I would write something down about the damn thing. If I had enough juice, what I am about to write is what I would change about some of the sports that we watch and love.  Might as well get this started…

Football

Bring back group celebrations, hell celebrations in general:
This is like a major must, you ever watch other leagues like the Arena league or the CFL bust a move? I mean they come up with some good stuff, my favorites being while I was a intern with the Chicago Rush. Why does the NFL and College make it a major no-no? Bring back the "dirty bird" or let a fucking punter celebrate when he scores on the best fake out ever? I loved when Rex Ryan damn near ran on the field to celebrate with his team in the playoffs, but did it really need a flag? Now things like taunting and just putting the other team down should be flagged, also stupid stuff like diving or falling into the endzone when no one is within 20 yards of you. But other than that, bring some damn fun back into it. As much as I love seeing Arena Football or old XFL and USFL clips, they shouldn’t be the only one that have a ton of fun when they score touchdown.

Find a way to bring back professional football to Los Angles:
Now I don’t want to see Minnesota move to LA or something along those lines, but I want to see a group of people that come up with the dollars to get a team back into the Coliseum at least.  Now a thought here would have San Diego or Oakland take the trip North because they both play in a couple of the worst stadiums imaginable but lets not hold our breath here

Basketball
The equalizer sport…the one sport where some guy from a poverty driven lifestyle, can have a gift and it into a few million dollars, and then find some way to crap it all down the toilet with bad business decisions, “staying true to your roots,” and/or my favorite the long lost family member. With all that being said…

Adopt the baseball mentality of draft status:
Basically this means if you want to go to the NBA right out of high school, go right ahead and good luck to you. But, in the odd case that you go to college, you have to stay until at least the end of your third year of school (or maybe your second year). Now you will still see plenty of guys that will bypass college for the money, but hopefully seeing the crapshoot that is “potential” will have more kids going to college, polishing their games, growing up, and maybe actually getting an education (I know, lofty expectations).  It’s time for younger players to realize that for every LeBron James, Moses Malone, and Connie Hawkins (dude was a bad man) there are players like Sebastian Telfair, DeSagana Diop, and Leon Smith (Remember him? What a sad and strange story.)

Have every team have a D-League affiliate:
This does two things...have an actual minor league system and allows those who would never see the light of day on good teams (somewhere Thibs achy voice is screaming) could get some experince. Okay, i'm not the first one to say something about this point but its a good ass point.

Baseball

Well lets see..they just expanded replay, added an extra wild card, level big spending (enough for now), and "cracked" down on performance enhancing drugs all is well right?

Make the matchup between wild cards a three game series:
Yes a one game, winner take all is great, but I don't want some really bad umpiring be the difference between a team winning or losing. I will stick by my guns and say that play in last years game between St. Louis and Atlanta was a huge croc, ump got bailed out by the rule. He was late on the call and your seriously telling my a ball that far into the outfield is an "infield fly?"Okay. Anyway, a three game series would probably mean more back-end starters but one game to make or break a season just kinda stinks.
Hockey
Outside of firing the commish...
Every Team should play each other
I'm really sick of seeing a schedule and missing out on the potential to see NHL stars up close and live. How hard is it to have each team play one another. You have the perfect blueprint in the NBA because they have been doing it for years and it works pretty damn well Yes you could have basketball equivalent of Bobcats v Suns but wouldn't it be awesome to hear Doc Emery call a sunday afternoon game between the Kings n Rangers or Chicago n Boston back at the scene of the crime?

So what you think, agree, disagree, have something to add or think i'm some big moron who doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Comments ppl...comments
